What's there when you arrive

Nothing moves at one session a week. A flat rate is what gets you to three or four without thinking about the invoice.

You are not joining a gym. You're hiring a coach who trains you every session, writes your diet, and tracks whether it's actually working.

Unlimited 1-on-1 sessions
Train as often as the research says you should — not as often as you can afford at $125+ an hour.
Diet coaching included
Macros, groceries, restaurants, the whole thing.
Fit3D body scans
Body composition measured every 6 weeks with progress consultations.
One flat monthly rate
No contract, no membership fee, no session packages to burn through.
Your options in Closter

Four routes to the same goal. Here's what each actually costs.

Big-box membership
$30–70/mo
Cheap to join, and that's the entire offer. No programming, no diet, nobody who notices when you stop showing up.
Independent trainer, per session
$100–150/hr
Per-hour pricing decides how often you train, not your schedule. At $800+ a month for two a week, almost nobody gets to the frequency that works.
Boutique class studio
$180–250/mo
A good sweat and a playlist. The same session for every body in the room, no diet, nothing tracked. No results.
UTG — 8 minutes away
One flat rate
Unlimited 1-on-1, diet coaching and scans included. The eight-minute drive is the whole cost of switching.

I have been a part of UTG since Aug 2017 and am extremely happy with my progress so far. This is not a regular gym where you just show up, do your thing and go home. Every workout and meal plan is structured as per your goals and needs.

I always felt intimidated and overwhelmed at the gym so avoided it like the plague. I rationalized it as "it's just not for me". Well, I was wrong. UTG has taught me how to be healthy and work towards my goals.

I love this place. I've been to all kinds of gyms and group exercise studios and they're fine and all, but you don't get any individualized attention.

Closter questions

Before you ask.

Which way do people come from Closter?

West on High Street, then Old Hook Road straight into Westwood. About three miles, and none of it is highway.

Is there parking?

Free lot at the gym. You will not circle Westwood looking for a spot.

Do I have to commit to a contract?

No. One flat monthly rate, cancel whenever. The results are the retention plan.

Closter already has gyms. Why drive?

If one of them will coach you four times a week for a flat rate, take it. That's usually not what you find when you call around.

Do you train early mornings?

Yes. We run Monday to Friday, 5–11am and 4–9:30pm. Saturday 7am - 12pm.

Eight minutes west on Old Hook.

Fifteen-minute call. We'll tell you honestly whether this is the right fit.
