What's there when you arrive

Real results require at least 3x / week personal training. From Emerson the drive is shorter than your warm-up.

You are not joining a gym. You're hiring a coach who trains you every session, writes your diet, and tracks whether it's actually working.

Unlimited 1-on-1 sessions
Train as often as the research says you should — not as often as you can afford at $125+ an hour.
Diet coaching included
Macros, groceries, restaurants, the whole thing.
Fit3D body scans
Body composition measured every 6 weeks with progress consultations.
One flat monthly rate
No contract, no membership fee, no session packages to burn through.
Your options in Emerson

Four ways to go about it. No spin on any of them.

Big-box membership
$30–70/mo
Cheapest on paper, least likely to work in practice. Equipment and no plan. Most people stop going by 90 days.
Independent trainer, per session
$100–150/hr
At $100–150 an hour you ration sessions. Two a week is $800+ and still under the frequency that moves anything, with no food guidance attached.
Boutique class studio
$180–250/mo
An identical hour for a dozen people. No programming of your own, no diet coaching. No results.
UTG — 4 minutes away
One flat rate
Unlimited 1-on-1, diet coaching and scans included. At four minutes the drive barely counts as one.

Attended UTG with the goal of reducing weight and getting fit and I'm so happy that both my goals were met in a short period of time. Great and knowledgeable trainers, they give perfect direction on workouts.

I joined about 3 months ago. Yesterday, not only did I do my first dead-lifts, but I felt strong. I lost about 9 lbs so far but more importantly my clothes fit better and I have a lot more energy.

Emerson questions

Before you ask.

Four minutes, really?

1.4 miles. Kinderkamack north, right onto Old Hook. Traffic barely registers at that distance.

Is there parking?

Free lot at the gym. You will not circle Westwood looking for a spot.

Do I have to commit to a contract?

No. One flat monthly rate, cancel whenever. The results are the retention plan.

Is it worth driving four minutes?

That is rather the point. At this distance nothing about the trip is a reason to skip a session.

Do you train early mornings?

Yes. We run Monday to Friday, 5–11am and 4–9:30pm. Saturday 7am - 12pm.

Four minutes. Not much of an excuse left.

Fifteen-minute call. We'll tell you honestly whether this is the right fit.
